18+ returns after 2013’s amazing MIXTAP3, with their debut album Trust due on 2xLP via Houndstooth this coming November. Out first is the new (sort of) video for “All The Time.” Using footage from the original video, some general ocean wave shots, and some Microsoft Word writing, 18+ creates a landscape for their silly serious love song that is both spiritual but clearly a read on the state of music today. The slow vibes from the ocean shots and CGI model’s dance moves explore the curves (rather than the glitches and angles) of the internet, the way its infinite mysteries can wrap you in a warm embrace. It’s always going down a rabbit hole with 18+: unexpected and oddly comforting.
