Autechre announce vinyl reissues of first three albums

English IDM pioneers Autechre are set to drop reissues of their highly influential and much beloved first three albums: their 1993 debut Incunabula, 1994’s Amber, and 1995’s Tri Repetae, widely considered their masterpiece. All three have been unavailable on vinyl since 2001, and, in the case of Tri Repetae, the music is “incomplete without surface noise” afforded by the vinyl format, according to a sticker on the original CD release.

All three reissues, as with all Autechre records, will be out through Warp on November 11 and are currently available for pre-order in a bundle through Bleep, which nets you all three albums as double LPs along with a lossless download for each, as well a bonus download of live set AE_LIVE_GRAFENHAINICHEN_170715.

This reissue project comes at the end of a big year for the techno duo, who released their colossal 12th album elseq 1-5 in May and are bracing for an equally massive European tour planned to run through October and November, with many shows are already sold out. Check out details here.
