Duran Duran announce new album Paper Gods and tour

You may remember the band Duran Duran from the hit song “A View to a Kill” and a Yoplait yogurt commercial from 2013. Those dudes from those things are back, and this time they have an album that sounds like the title of an old Mobb Deep record. It’s called Paper Gods, and it’ll be released September 18 in the US on Warner Bros. Records as a CD, a deluxe 15-track CD, a 2LP vinyl, and a limited-edition Vinyl Factory Deluxe LP box set. Janelle Monáe, Niles Rodgers, John Frusciante, Canadian Juno-Award winning singer Kiesza, and more will make guest appearance on the album. Even the moldy and decrepit Lindsay Lohan will provide spoken word vocals on the track, “Dancephobia.”

This album comes at a critical time, as in 1988 my cousin Dunny tried an attempted grope at Duran Duran backstage, but he got his outtie belly button caught on barbed wire. Craft services had to cut the barbed wire from the fence, leaving Dunny with an unwanted belly ring. Furthermore, blood from the incident stained his “Hungry Like the Wolf” happy trail tattoo. To celebrate the new Duran Duran release as well as upcoming tour dates, I have stolen money from fellow TMT staff writers to get a Duran Duran tramp stamp tattoo (“Rio” in Jokerman font; arrow pointed down to butt crack) to honor Dunny.
