Yung Lean announces new album Stranger, shares new single "Hunting My Own Skin" and a pretty un-lean amount of tour dates
Yung Lean: still looking young — and...kinda...leaning over.

Sad boys around the world can collectively rejoice, as Yung Lean — a.k.a. Sweden’s first successfully self-aware android torch singer Jonatan Leandoer Håstad — has once again come online with new music likely to make the perfect addition to any Tamagotchi funeral soundtrack.

After spending most of 2017 under a low profile, Håstad has announced an upcoming new album, entitled Stranger, slated for release November 10 on Year0001. In addition, he’s also shared “Hunting My Own Skin,” the album’s newest single (which follows “Red Bottom Sky” from earlier this month).

But dedicated Yung Lean fans shouldn’t be too quick to whip out their Game-Boys – if the singles are any indication, Lean may be taking the album’s title seriously and showing something new and unfamiliar. He’s been one to surprise and reinvent throughout his career, like with last year’s Warlord, which took his music to experimental extremes following a year of personal tumult. Whether or not the hip hop crooner wants to clean up or refine a new sound, he’s sure to keep the post-internet fanboys in a frenzy.

Finally, Yung Lean will be capping off the album’s release with an extensive list of tour dates that’ll take him across Europe and North America from November through February. Pre-order Stranger over here, and check out the full tour itinerary below, as well as the new single “Hunting My Own Skin.”
