Björk's new album reportedly slated for November

Put down that Björk fidget spinner, and listen up! Thanks to Exclaim (“Canada’s foremost source of news and information on the best in emerging new music”), who heard it from Stereogum (“a music website founded in 2002”), who discovered it via the fall preview guide from The New York Times (“All the News That’s Fit to Print”), who also tipped off Pitchfork (“The Most Trusted Voice in Music”), we here at Tiny Mix Tapes (“I Can’t Believe It’s Not Better!”) have learned that Björk is slated to release her new album in November via One Little Indian.

According to a recent statement, the as-yet untitled album — described as her “Tinder record” and reportedly featuring co-production from Arca — is “about that search (for utopia)” and “about being in love.” The news comes on the heels of the recently-announced single, “The Gate,” which is out September 22 on single-sided 12-inch and available now for pre-order.

And hey, while you’re at it, why not pre-order the new album, too? Thank you. <3
