Last year, Jeremih and Chance The Rapper released a Christmas-themed mixtape titled Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama. Since nothing terrible happened this year, the two Chicago rappers are celebrating by releasing an extended version of the mixtape, which includes 10 new tracks. It’s called Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama Re-Wrapped and is available to stream below and download here.
It is in this spirit of rewrapping that I’ve graciously rewrapped my story from last year as a present to you, dear reader.
Re-read the re-wrapped story beneath the embedded re-wrapped mixtape below this impressive holiday-themed ASCII art.

“Fuck 2016.”
– JeremihFollowing up their collaboration with Big Sean on “Living Single,” Jeremih and Chance The Rapper have hooked their sleighs together (or some other stupid Christmas metaphor) and came up with a surprise nine-track mixtape called Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama. Spoiler alert: it’s Christmas themed.
Guests include Hannibal Buress (“All the Way”), Lud Foe (“I Shoulda Left You”), and TMT favorite Noname (“The Tragedy”). The vibe is slightly more Late Nights (#20) than Coloring Book, but it all feels season appropriate nonetheless, just two rappers from Chicago making a 2016 Christmas album for Chicago. No production info was revealed, but I think there’s Zaytoven on here and perhaps a footwork producer or two on the final track?
